Information and Policies Cheyenne Mountain Resort

PIF is assessed to all charges at the Resort at a rate of 2.25%.

A Public Improvement Fee (PIF) is a fee that developers may require their tenants to collect on sales transactions to pay for on-site improvements. The PIF is a fee and NOT a tax; therefore, it becomes a part of the overall cost of the sale/service and is subject to sales tax.

Examples of these improvements include curbs and sidewalks, parking facilities, storm management system (including snow removal), sanitary sewer systems, road development (within the site), and outdoor public plazas.

The following amenities are included with our daily Resort Fee of $35:

• Self Parking in outdoor lot
• Wireless Internet access in guest rooms and public areas
• 800 and local call access
• Morning newspaper from the General Store and in-room coffee and tea
• Access to Country Club (green fees additional)
• Fitness Center and Aquatics access with parking
• Fitness classes
• Outdoor Tennis
• Lake Rentals - sail boats, paddle boats, and kayaks (seasonal)
• Outdoor heated resort pool and hot tub (open year-round)

Located on the Conference Level, one level down from Main Lobby, we provide a full array of business services, copies, faxes, and computer access. FedEx, UPS, and outgoing shipping services are available (handling fees will apply).

Located in the Main Lobby of the Resort and the Golf Shop in the Clubhouse Building.

Taxi Service: Approximately $26 one way

Parking

Self Parking is available outside each lodge and is included in the Resort Fee.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is just a 20-minute drive from the Colorado Springs Airport, offering 120 daily flights from 10 commercial airlines. The property is approximately an hour's drive from Denver and Denver International Airport.

Directions

From I-25

1. Take Exit 138 for Circle Drive/Lake Ave.
2. Turn west (toward the mountains).
3. Drive two miles to CO-115 South.
4. Continue under the overpass and turn left onto the CO-115 S ramp.
5. At the first traffic light, take a right onto Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.
6. Take your first left on Broadmoor Valley Rd.
7. In three blocks, Cheyenne Mountain Resort will be on your left.

From Colorado Springs Airport

1. Go west on Milton E. Proby Pkwy. toward Service Rd.
2. In 3 miles, turn left onto S. Academy and stay in the middle lane.
3. Follow Academy 4 miles to Highway 115.
4. Exit north at Highway 115.
5. In 1 mile, turn left on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd.
6. Take your first left on Broadmoor Valley Rd.
7. In three blocks, Cheyenne Mountain Resort will be on your left.

Our policies are as follows:

• Guests who are prohibited from traveling to their booked hotel under applicable law will have their cancellation or change penalties waived on direct bookings.
• For all other reservations, our standard 7-day cancellation policy will apply.
• Guests departing earlier than their original booked dates will be charged a $50 Early Departure Fee, unless for certain emergency situations. Please speak with a Front Desk Manager for clarification.

Please note that the cancellation policies above do not apply to any Group booking, such as conferences, meetings, or events. For guests with Group reservations, please review the terms and conditions for the booking and/or contact cmrsales@cheyennemountain.com for more information.

For bookings made by a travel agent or online booking platform, guests are advised to contact the agent or booking platform directly.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a non-smoking facility. Smoking of any kind is prohibited in guest rooms and balconies. Cleaning fees starting at $250 may be applied. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.

Pet Policies and Guidelines

The following guidelines were created to ensure that everyone's visit is enjoyable:

• Cheyenne Mountain Resort accepts only dogs under 80 pounds which must be registered during check-in at the Front Desk. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per room.
• A non-refundable pet fee of $35.00 per dog per day will be added to your room account. This fee is based on a 2-dog maximum per room, each weighing no more than 80 pounds.
• A valid credit card must remain on file at the front desk.
• Dogs must be leashed at all times. Dog walking is permitted in designated areas only, as noted on the property map. Please clean up after your dog with the packet provided upon check-in.
• Animals are not permitted in any Food and Beverage Outlet or Country Club Venue (fitness center, tennis courts, aquatics facilities, club house or golf course). Service Animals are Exempt. All dogs are permitted on a leash in the parking lots and public areas.
• Guests are responsible for any damage or disruption pets may cause. If deep cleaning is necessary, an appropriate fee will be added to your room account.
• Any dog left unattended in guest rooms must be secured in a proper pet crate or carrier. The "Privacy Please" sign should be hung on the door.
• Dogs may not be left unattended in rooms if unable to behave appropriately. Should the resort incur any costs for the material compensation of any guest complaints regarding an unattended dog, pet owners may be liable for additional fees.
• If Resort management receives more than two (2) noise/disruption complaints, alternative arrangements must be made for the dog.
• Housekeeping or maintenance services should be pre-arranged so that dogs are with the owner or out of the room during service. Please contact Housekeeping at extension 4591 to arrange a time that is most convenient for you.
• The resort does not staff dog sitters, though there are many independent dog-sitting providers in the local area. Click here to find one.

Room rates are subject to a 10.20% tax and 2.95% public improvement fee. An additional Resort Fee of $35 (plus tax) per room will be charged. The following amenities are included as part of the resort fee:  parking (self or valet), fitness classes, outdoor tennis, boating(seasonal), wireless internet access in guestrooms and public areas, 800 and Local call access, and in room coffee and tea, fitness center and aquatics access and parking. 

Check in time is 4:00 pm. Check out time is 12:00 pm noon. Guests must be over the age of 21 to check in. 

A first night's room and tax deposit is required at time of booking. 

At the time of check in we authorize the full amount of your stay plus $50 per day for incidentals.  With a debit card, this transaction shows up immediately on your account and these funds will not be available for your use for up to ten business days. 

Rollaway charge is $30 per night and is only available in King Rooms.
