When researching photographers, be sure to look over their portfolios to get a feel for their previous work. Chances are, you already have a certain look in mind for your wedding photos, like a bohemian, moody, or classic aesthetic. Do you prefer landscape shots to portrait? Maybe it is important for you to have a certain percentage of candid shots. You’ll want to keep all these preferences in mind when scanning a photographer’s portfolio.
