There’s so much to see and do in downtown Colorado Springs this summer, and if you do it right, you’ll work up a hunger! So why not combine your exploration of our downtown with a hunt for good eats by making a plan to join The Original Colorado Springs Food Tour?
This well-established and popular walking tour organized through Rocky Mountain Food Tours highlights five distinctive local destinations that are the best in their class. In three hours, you’ll enjoy a guided dine-and-dash experience by visiting some of the most loved restaurants in downtown Colorado Springs. Instead of simply popping into a restaurant on your own, taking this tour will earn you an insider’s perspective into Colorado Springs’ blossoming culinary scene. With tales of the original Antlers Hotel, founder William Jackson Palmer, Pikes Peak, Spencer Penrose, the railroad, and more, even locals will walk away having learned a thing or two! And of course, you’ll get to eat while you listen with each local hot spot, hole-in-the-wall, and award-winning host ready and waiting to serve you and yours generous portions of their signature favorites. Any guests 21 years and older with proof of id, will be invited to elevate their dining experience by adding three drink pairings to the tour for only $15. Drinks may include wine, cocktails, hard cider, or Colorado craft beer. Pairings are set in advance according to a tour’s specific itinerary and are intended to complement your tastings!
