Climb Aboard The Electric Safari At Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Voted third best zoo lights in the US, the Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo boasts a spectacular display of bigger than life creatures sure to dazzle the imaginations of visitors of all ages.

Lucky for you, it’s not simply a holiday event. The Electric Safari stays aglow all year, with timed tickets available for advance purchase between 5 and 7:30 daily. Once inside the park, you’re welcome to stay until the gates close at 8:30. So what will you see? It’s the only place around where you can see 60 one-of-a-kind light sculptures and take photos with our larger than life illuminated inflatable animals located throughout the Zoo. This year’s event celebrates 31 years of electric fun and the third year we’ve been voted third best zoo lights by USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice. While you’re here, consider jumping on the Sky Ride for a bird’s eye view of the Zoo lights, Cheyenne Mountain, and Colorado Springs. The chairlift to Mountaineer Summit takes about seven minutes.
